Jharkhand is a state in eastern India and various languages are spoken there. Capital city of the state of Jharkhand is Ranchi. The level of progress this city has shown since the birth of the state of Jharkhand proves that it has the potential to become one of the leading industrial cities of the entire country of India. The state of Jharkhand is easily accessible by rail, air and road. The capital city of Ranchi houses an airport of its own. The major railway station of the state is also located at Ranchi and some good roads are being constructed in the state.
The important districts of Jharkhand state are Ranchi, Palamu, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Deoghar, Dhanbad and Koderma. To cater to the need of various industries, the infrastructural development of Jharkhand has become absolutely necessary. Jharkhand is known for its mineral wealth and forestry products together with excellent human resources, it has a population of 26.90 million, consisting of 13.86 million males and 13.04 million females and the sex ratio is 941 females to 1000 males.
Industrial and mining centres like Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Ranchi have attracted people from all parts of India. Three religions that came in through the colonisers are Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. The Tribal comunities of Jharkhand state have their own spiritual beliefs commonly called Sarna. Today the tribal people are realizing this and now Sarna is a growing phenomena. Jharkhand state is blessed with an exotic landscape: the rolling hills, beautiful plateaus, sparkling rivers and so on that largely contribute towards tourism at Jharkhand. Aside, the national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, holy shrines and museums, etc. largely attracts tourists to come to Jharkhand tourism. There are many major tourist spots in Jharkhand tourism that play a vital role in the tourism industry of Jharkhand are Netarhat, Betla National Park and Baidyanath Dham.

Jharkhand state is located in eastern India and is surrounded by Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the west, Orissa to the south, and West Bengal to the east. The state covers a geographical area of 79.70 Lakh Hect.
Weather:-
Jharkhand weather is so soothing and invigorating that sightseeing becomes an absolute treat. Although, summer season that is marked by charring temperatures hovering around the mark of 42 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius. Period generally lasts from the middle of March to the middle of June and the rainy season that brings a much anticipated sense of relief to the residents in Jharkhand. The rainy season sometimes prepones its entry and ushers in either during the month of end of May or beginning of July. Moreover, this weather of Jharkhand persists till the months of September, when the spine-chilling winter season makes its way into the state.
Furthermore, the weather at Jharkhand during the winters is very pacifying and calming. Bur as soon as the darkness creeps in at the end of the day, there is a sharp drop in the temperature. And December is considered to be the chilliest month. Dust storms also run wild in the domain during the months of May and June with average wind velocities ranging from 48-64 kilometers per hour.
Airport:-
Domestic airport is situated in Ranchi so the city is well linked by constant flights with Patna, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. From Patna to Ranchi it will take only 45minutes to reach by flight. And from Kolkata it’s just 1 hour journey by Air. Moreover, from Delhi, the capital of India, it’s just 1 hour and 45 minutes journey to Ranchi by Air and from Mumbai to Ranchi by Air, it’s almost 4 hours journey.
Rail junction:-
Ranchi is also the place of the prominent railway station in the state, which is well connected to North, East, West and South by rail. However, south Eastern Railways links the state to other major cities such as Patna, Rourkela via regular trains. Yet another prominent railway station is in Hazaribagh. It is just an over night journey from Kolkata by train. There are so many Express trains run from Howrah to Ranchi and if one wants to come from Delhi then also there are number of Express trains run each and everyday from Delhi to Kolkata via Dhanbad. From Dhanbad one can go any cities of the state by Luxury buses or by train to Ranchi.
Transport:-
Ranchi is located at the junction of National Highways number 23 and 33. The city is well connected to every important part of the country by road. Road network has been spread to facilitate road transport in the region, so that people from all over the country have easy access to the place.
